It's hot on this first day of summer! Did you know that the official weather monitoring station for the city of Denver is located on our airfield? The Automated Surface Observing System, or ASOS, is an array of instruments for observing temperature, precipitation, wind, sky cover, visibility, and pressure. It's managed by the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) #DENFacts
Carrie and Dom have a sweet story. They are both frequent flyers out of DEN and last July they got "married" at a Southwest Airlines gate. They were eloping in Santa Cruz, CA, but they signed their marriage license at the gate. Their marriage license literally says "DIA, Terminal C Gate 29." Carrie and Dom recently returned to the airport to take their engagement photos after the fact. Here's a look at their photos by Jesse Hart Photography. We wish the best to Carrie and Dom! #PeopleOfDEN

We have heard from hundreds of people over the last few days who have shared social media posts about "Blue Boo," which a little girl lost while traveling recently. Since there has been so much attention, we wanted to let the community know that our lost and found team has been working hard to locate the item, but it has not turned up yet. Our team will continue looking, and we thank all the folks who have contacted us wanting to help. If you ever lose an item at the airport, go to dialostandfound.com to file a claim. Our world-class team does all they can to get your item back safe and sound.
