The first meeting of the DC Metroplex Community Roundtable will be held this evening. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Maryland Department of Transportation's Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) office at 991 Corporate Blvd, Linthicum.
The DC Metroplex Community Roundtable was created by the MAA at the request of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The organization will evaluate air traffic procedures that were implemented by the FAA as part of the DC Metroplex project. The Community Roundtable will make recommendations to the FAA regarding air traffic routes near BWI Marshall Airport.

More exciting air service news to share as Alaska Airlines announced this morning new flights between BWI Marshall Airport and San Francisco International Airport (SFO)! The new transcontinental service is scheduled to begin on October 16.
San Francisco will be the third new Alaska Airlines market for us in 2017. The airline will start flights to San Diego next week and to Portland, Oregon in June.
