Tim O'Brien - We should use KBUF as the domestic airport and KIAG as the international airport due to the fact that just about every foreign airline will ask for Niagara Falls before they even think about Buffalo

An Otable - It is the right time for us to get Transatlantic service. There are many new players in the game looking for a share of the market. AerLingus will not happen. New low cost carriers are the players interested in a city like BUF. Several of which are from Iceland, and of course Norwegian among a select few others. Buffalo could not handle filling a two/three times weekly Europe flight on its own but as seen at IAG, the Canadians are always looking for an alternate to overpriced YYZ. So there is a market for a 737NG or 320neo in BUF. These are the planes of future low cost European travel if you want a wide body overpriced mainline Europe carriers are there for you! Domestically JetBlue's LAX flight numbers will show how strong that west coast market is, though you can't connect anywhere else on JetBlue from there. Also Southwest tried Denver though extremely limited and short lived ( sat only for a month ) last year with connection possibilities to dozens of places and it went nowhere, so we shall see how Frontier does in the spring. I flew Frontier this week for the first time and I don't have any real negatives to say about them. They deliver a product for super cheap price and if your able to avoid those costly extras it's a great deal, plus they will offer dozens of connection cities from DEN.

Ken Sansone - The NFTA deserves a lot of credit here. Getting Frontier Airlines to get flights to Denver and Miami International was a much needed home run. And thinking big here is definitely a good thing. But I definitely agree that there are domestic routes to hubs/focus cities to lock up first... Dallas (bringing back DFW on American or DAL on Southwest), San Francisco (SFO on United or OAK on Southwest), and Houston (IAH on United or HOU on Southwest) should be the number one targets. San Juan on JetBlue is very realistic . And with Delta, their hubs in Seattle and Salt Lake City don't have service, we lost service to Cincinnati, and Raleigh has become a focus city, which is a really popular destination. Look at those airports first before grabbing overseas flights . But scoring any of those routes is nothing but good news for Buffalo!

D.b. Warren - Aer Lingus would be the best choice in my mind... Norwegian and Ryanair aren't the greatest airlines (not to mention flying on a packed 737 for more than 6 hours to get to Europe would just straight up suck) However, I believe BNIA needs to focus on adding and strengthening their domestic routes first... flights to DFW, BNA, or more West Coast like SFO and LGB... sure... places like Ireland would be awesome, but I don't think BNIA is ready to handle that kind of traffic until a year or two after the terminal renovations are complete and the current airlines already here prove themselves by adding or strengthening their routes... especially after passenger numbers dipping over the last 2 years....
