Opened in June, this brand-new facility offers campers a wonderful glamping experience while overviewing the Tokyo Bay.
An English version was added to its website last month, making it more convenient for non-Japanese speakers to access facility information and make reservations.

Hello.
One of the delicacies that represent fall is sweet potato!
With gentle sweetness and a pleasantly dry flesh, sweet potato is a commonly used vegetable that can be prepared in various dishes as well as desserts.
Sweet potatoes are not only delicious but also great for snacking if you are on a diet as they are rich in vitamin C.
If you are traveling in Japan during this season, we hope you try the seasonal and delicious sweet potatoes.

Hello.
In Japan, there is a day to honor the autumn full moon. Called Jugoya or Otsukimi, it takes place on the August 15th of the lunar calendar, which falls on Thursday, October 4 this year.
The moon on this day is considered the most beautiful during the year. In addition to moon viewing, the traditions include offering Tsukimi dango (sweet rice dumplings) to the moon and displaying decorations made from susuki (Japanese pampas grass) and other autumn plants by the window or on the porch. If you happened to be in Japan this time of the year, we highly recommend doing some moon viewing to enjoy a beautiful Jugoya night.

Hello.
Today, we'd like to talk about Asian pears, the fruit that is in season in the fall.
Asian pears have a variety of nutrients and, because they effectively suppress coughs and bring down fever, they are perfect for this season when we tend to pick up a cold. The fruit has a high water content so it has a crisp fresh texture that makes it very delicious on its own.
If you are feeling tired from the summer heat, we highly recommend having an Asian pear! We hope you enjoy your travels in Japan in high spirits this month by having a delicious Asian pear!
Have a nice trip.

Hi there.
If you have traveled to Tokyo, you have most likely been to Roppongi.
Today, we'd like to introduce you to the observatory at Roppongi Hills.
Located on the 52nd floor and the roof of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Tokyo City View offers a bird's-eye view of big city Tokyo. Because it is located almost in the center of downtown Tokyo and there are no buildings around to obstruct the view, you can enjoy a sweeping vista of the Rainbow Bridge as well as Odaiba, Shibuya and Shinjuku areas. It is such a luxury to be able to see Skytree and Tokyo Tower at the same time!
If you are planning to go visit Tokyo, the observatory is not to be missed!

Hello!
The seasonal delicacy that we'd like to introduce you today is shiitake mushrooms. Flavorful shiitake mushrooms are indispensable in autumn dishes! Delicious simmered or grilled, they can also be enjoyed sautéed or dried. Nutritious yet low in calories, shiitake mushrooms are known to effectively prevent and treat high blood pressure and arteriosclerosis.
They are a versatile ingredient in cooking. We highly recommend using dried shiitake to prepare mixed rice as it is a very easy dish to make. Just add rice, dried shiitake, soy sauce and water to the rice cooker and cook it as usual to enjoy a tasty rice dish.
We hope you incorporate shiitake mushrooms in cooking to enjoy autumn in great health.

Hello there.
The popular Shinagawa Shukuba Festival is coming up soon! This year it is held on September 23 ad 24.
Held along a two-kilometer-long stretch of the ancient "highway" that was utilized back in the Edo period, it is one of the largest events in Shinagawa Ward.
It offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the tradition and cultural heritage of Shinagawa, an area that thrived as the first of the 53 post stations along the Tokaido, Japan's main east-west route. In addition, there are many events such as a historical costume parade, street performances, flea market and drawings to win prizes. We recommend getting off at either Kita-Shinagawa Station (24 minutes), Shimbamba Station (22 minutes) or Aomono-Yokocho Station (21 minutes) when going to the festival.
*The minutes in parentheses show the approximate time it takes to each station from Haneda Airport International Terminal Station.
