Hello.
Now that we are at the height of summer, we tend to lose our appetite and crave something fresh and juicy. Fruits currently in season are grapes!
While nice and sweet, grapes have a pleasant tanginess and rich flavor. Full of vitamins, iron and other nutrients, they also have anti-aging and anti-cancerous properties.
Glucose in grapes help with the recovery from summer weariness and general fatigue.
We hope you enjoy delicious grapes while traveling in Japan this summer.

Hi there!
It is the height of summer! Japanese people cool off during this hot and humid season by eating kakigori, shaved ice dessert. Have you had the chance to try it?
Often sold at festivals and events, this summer treat is served with sweet syrup with flavors such as strawberry, lemon and melon.
There are many places where you can enjoy kakigori. While some serve the classic style kakigori with flavored syrup, others have recently started to offer their original versions.
It would be fun to go on an expedition looking for your favorite kind of kakigori.
We hope you enjoy Japan's summer with this delicious sweet treat.
